Stimulating Man
Q. I am 34 years old married and have got now a boyfriend 32 years old. My boyfriend is a close friend of ours. I would like to initiate sex with my boyfriend for a change. How should I begin? Secondly, I know there will be one problem, that he is circumcised and I do not know how to go about touching his penis. What should I do?
Concerned Reader, Moshi.

A. Work out some routines for your self in advance. For example, to start with call him for meal, you could touch or press his hands to start, caress his legs or thighs, later own tell your partner that you are going to give him sex message. Then you could rub and stroke his body with oil. Usually message turns into sex.
Whether your partner is circumcised or uncircumcised, the rule is the same find out how your partner likes to masturbate and adopt this as your basic template for touching him.
Because your partner does not have a foreskin that slides back and forwards over the tip of his penis you might find it easier to cover your hands in lubricant before you masturbate him this will create a smother sensation.

Fever
Q. My daughter of 8 years old had suffered from fever last month. I would like you to brief us regarding temperature of the body?
Concerned parents, DMS.

A. Body temperature refers to the internal temperature. It is fairly stable, and is regulated by the temperature center in the hypothalamus (brain). Skin temperature can be many degrees lower, and is determined by the blood supply to the skin, the ambient temperatures and the body’s heat production. Measuring rectal temperature normally between 36 and 37oC.
Measuring the temperature under the armpit gives a result which is usually 0.5-1oC lower. Temperature is dependent on the time at which it is measured and is at its lowest between 6 and 7 AM, and highest between 6 and 7 PM. In women temperature is dependent on the menstrual cycle; body temperature is 0.5 to 1oC higher immediately after ovulation.
The body temperature also rises during and after physical exertion, especially in children (1 to 2oC). Temperature is not so well regulated in young infants and elderly. A raised rather than lower temperature accompanies many illnesses. Fever can occur in almost all disease. Certain substances (pyogens) cause high temperature. Bacteria, by white blood cells and tissue cells, produce them and their presence causes the temperature as being too low. The body’s production of heat is raised by increased muscular tension, shivering and chattering of the teeth. The patient is cold while the temperature is rising. When the desired temperature is reached, the vessels dilate and patient feels warm and perspires.
The temperature continues to be raised until the temperature center is functioning normally again, when the process is reversed, and the temperature falls. The body reacts to fever in various ways. Many patients complain of muscular, backache, cold sores, often suffers loss of appetite, etc. Metabolism accelerates causing weight loss.
The heart beats faster and pulse rate increases. Heavy perspiration causes acute moisture and salt loss. Babies especially are in danger of dehydration during a fever. Much research has been done into the function of fever. Some bacteria are destroyed by high temperature although on most bacteria there is no effect. So far no satisfactory explanation has been found.

Top Position
Q. I am 23 years old and my girlfriend is 21 years old. What does it mean if my partner always wants sex with the woman on top position? Secondly, how can I tell if my partner has had an orgasm? She says that she has, but she does not make much noise.
Concerned Reader, Mikumi.

A. Some times people just slip into habits when it comes to sex but it is likely that your partner has a specific reason for favouring a particular position. Women on top positions allow her freedom of movement and this can help her to reach organs.
Your partner’s preference may mean any of the following. She finds it difficult to climax in any other position. She likes being in charge. This has been her sex pattern in a past relationship and she is assuming it will be the same in the present relationship. She enjoys the sensations that she gets in this position.
She is afraid of being dominated and this is her pre-emptive strike to prevent such a situation. It can be difficult to tell. Some women keep absolutely still and barely make a sound during orgasm. However, if you are in the habit of stimulating her by hand or by giving her oral sex, you might be able to actually see or feel the contractions that take place during orgasm. This is especially true if you have one or more fingers inside her vagina.
