No To Sex
Q. I am 23 years old and my boyfriend is 26 years old. He demands sex almost every day and it is getting too much for me. How do I say no to sex without upsetting him?

A. It has been seen that most men would prefer you to say no than have sex when you do not want to have sex. If he does want to perform sex on demand than you need to discuss the situation and consider if you really want to have him as your partner. The fact is you do not need his permission to refuse. If you are polite and he is a nice guy, he might well roll over huffily and sulk for a while but, hopefully, he will be aware he is acting childishly. How best to say thanks, but no thanks? This really depends on the guy. Try telling the truth. I am exhausted and just feel like sleep or I do not know why, I just do not feel like it. Let us have a cuddle instead. Make it clear you are rejecting sex, not him and he should handle it okay. After saying all above it is also important that you should not deprive a person who is fond of having sex daily.

All of us would like our fantasies to come true. The top ten female sex fantasies are as follow: having sex with a man other than your partner. For most of the women this is very common. Some women feel guilty because of some reasons. Research shows we tend not to marry the person we were most sexually passionate with but many prefer to play it safe and settle for what we think are more sensible attributes due to pressure from family or community.

Q. My wife sustained blood stained loose motions with abdominal pain. On stool examination it was found she had amoebia. It was also found that she had developed liver infection as well. Can you let us know about this?

A.Amoebiasis is usually caused by Entamoeba histolytica, a potential pathogenic intestinal amoeba that is propagated between humans by its infective stage called cyst. Intestinal amoebiasis or amoebic dysentery usually runs a chronic course with grumbling pains in the abdomen and two or more rather loose stools a day. Periods of diarrhoea alternating with constipation are a frequent feature. Mucus is usually passed, some times with streaks of blood, and motions often have an offensive odour.
Liver amoebiasis often occurs without a history of recent diarrhoea. It is common in the tropics and is a cause of fever. Early symptoms may be local discomfort only or malaise; later a swinging temperature, sweating and an enlarged painful liver. Cough and pain in the right shoulder are characteristic but symptoms may remain vague and signs minimal. A large abscess may penetrate into the lung from where its contents may be coughed up. Rupture into the lung, peritoneal cavity and covering of heart is less common but more serious. Invasive treatment responds quickly. Stools are re-examined after 4 weeks. Liver amoebiasis responds quickly to treatment as well.
